Survey catalog of Bergen medical AI-related initiatives

Over the past decennium breakthroughs in machine learning (ML) has led to a renewed interest in artificial intelligence or AI (loosely: “the theory, development, and application of computer systems able to perform tasks normally requiring human intelligence”) across many disciplines and industries. In this context, there are initiatives at UiB, Helse Bergen, HVL and other local institutions involved in the research, education and practice of medicine and health care to join forces on “Medical AI”.

As part of this endeavor we will make a catalogue of current and planned medical AI initiatives and projects in the Bergen area. A first important step is the following survey, where we ask you to fill in as best you at the moment can, and as you find useful.
