Allow for 2-3 working days before you hear from us.

Rules for booking of project room.

You can only have one active booking at a time (max. 1 week).
If you have a booking you want to change or you don't need, send us an e-mail to m61.kmd@uib.no
The room shall be released back into the booking system.
Remember that you have to reset the room after you're done using it so it's ready for the next person.

Booking of project room 203: this room is open to all students during this semester. Just go to the room and write your name on the sheet of paper hanging on the door.

Booking of lydstudio: send a request whenever you need it, there is no limit.

Booking of Øvre/Nedre Hall, Rom 61, Student bar, Presentation rooms 1/2 and Knut Knaus: Subject to availability.

Rom61 is currently assigned and maintained by the faculty as a space for exhibitions, presentations, and research-projects, by staff and Ph.D.-students. It’s also intended for housing institute-initiatives and graduate shows. The calendar for each term is set by an internal application-round, then remaining leftover-time for the term is made available to students and staff through this form.

Due to the nature of Rom61, it is expected that any person who books leftover time is responsible for cleaning the space and restoring both walls and floors to their original state, within the end of each booking period.

- Relative to the complexity of the project, time is allocated in whole weeks (Tues-Mon). It's possible to request up to 2 continuous weeks.
- The user is responsible for all activity, equipment, and resources in relation to the project, and must follow the general conditions of usage of the room.
- The room MUST be restored to its original state within the expiry of the period.
- A request should consist of a clear description of the intended activity in the room.
- Projects that are connected to the teaching schedule and/or are open to audiences will be prioritized.
