Internship Application Form - Comparative Research Programme on Poverty (CROP) Secretariat at the University of Bergen, Norway

Interns at the CROP Secretariat will have the opportunity to work in an international environment as part of CROP's administrative team in Bergen. They will learn about the various activities carried out by CROP and its academic network.

CROP internships are only open to university students whose home institutions will give them credit for the internship, e.g. through the Erasmus+ programme. Applicants must have a relevant educational background (e.g. Social Studies, Development Studies, Political Science, International Relations) and excellent English language skills (at least CEFR Level C1).

Internships are unpaid; however, interns are reimbursed for monthly local transportation within Bergen. Interns are required to have health insurance and are responsible for finding their own housing. The CROP Secretariat will provide advice and tips during this process.

The length of an internship may vary from a minimum of two months to a maximum of six months and can be arranged throughout the year (with the exception of 1 July - 15 August).

Suitable candidates are selected on a competitive basis and applications are accepted throughout the year. We have 3 main evaluation dates: 1 February, 1 May and 1 November.
