Time: November 17-18 2017 Place: Fjordslottet, Osterøy Registration deadline: September 8 Abstract deadline: October 1 Beginning this year, the Department of Clinical Science (K2) will arrange the "Junior Annual Retreat" for its PhDs and postdocs, providing a new arena for academic and social exchanges. This year we will be in idyllic surroundings at Fjordslottet on Osterøy, about a 50 minute drive from Bergen. We will arrive for lunch on Friday November 17, have a three-course dinner, spend the night, and leave after lunch on Saturday November18. Meals and accomodation will be paid for by the Department of Clinical Science. There will be a scientific program, taking the format of a seminar with presentations mainly by the PhDs/postdocs, and some by more senior scientists who will be specially invited. Ample time will be given for discussion of presented projects, which may also involve group work. After dinner there will be a surprise social activity. If you indicate below that you would like to present your project, you will be invited to submit an abstract by the 1st of October. The Organizing Committee will then select the presenters.
