Usage of electronic lab notebooks at UiB

With this short survey, the group Research Data Services from the IT-division of the University of Bergen would like to learn more about your experiences with electronic lab notebooks or similar software. Electronic lab notebook (ELN) is a program which replaces a traditional paper laboratory notebook. Modern ELNs provide additional functionalities, such as linking data files with notes, protocols, templates, timestamps, equipment used and people involved. They support scientists in managing and documenting their workflows and discoveries.

The survey is directed to the researchers at UiB. All the answers are primarily intended for internal use at UiB, but a summary of the results in anonymized form may be presented outside of UiB in the future. By taking part in the survey, you agree that your answers will contribute to such a summary. Any provided contact data will be securely stored in accordance with UiB's policies.
