Det er imidlertid avgjørende å handle i henhold til våre rutiner og prosedyrer når man planlegger å invitere en gjest, og gjesten må godkjennes før ankomst! Hver gjest må ha en kontaktperson, og for at gjesteoppholdet skal bli så utbytterikt som mulig, ber vi deg som kontaktperson svare på en del praktiske forhold som må være på plass og avklart før gjesten kommer. Ansvarlig kontakt person ved GEO fyller ut søknaden så snart du har all nødvendig informasjon slik at vi i administrasjonen kan gjøre de forberedelsene som vi skal gjøre. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Inviting and hosting guest researchers is a natural and welcomed part of our academic work. It is, however, crucial to act according to our routines and procedures when planning to invite a guest, and visitors will need to be approved before arrival . Every guest must have a responsible host, and in order for the guest's stay to be as rewarding as possible, we ask you as the contact person to answer a number of practical matters that must be in place and clarified before the guest arrives The responsible host complete this application form and send it in as soon as you have all the necessary information so that we in the administration can make the preparations that we have to make.

All guests at GEO have to be employed or registered as an active student at their home institution during the stay at GEO, hence the home institution are responsible for insurance for the guest during the stay.
For internal PhD students at GEO, please contact our PhD coordinator!
Guest students at Master and Bachelor level, has lower priority for office space. They have the possibility as other students to use the Library and such common facilities at Campus.
